Hotel Luis V Santo Domingo, Santo Domingo

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and had a big TV, and the price for the suite was very reasonable. However, the AC was not working well, and the promise to change it the next day only happened in the afternoon.

The hotel was alright, with some positive and negative points. The rooms were clean with tile floors and a comfortable bed, but lacked basic amenities like a mini fridge, telephone, and television remote. The showers needed more cleanliness and maintenance. The location was decent, near the center and close to interesting places, but situated on a slightly deserted dark street. The dining experience was okay, offering a simple breakfast. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, although a key issue outside the room was a minor inconvenience.

The hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms are clean and come equipped with towels and a good air conditioning unit, but the price may not match the value received. The location is convenient for accessing the city center and Zona Colonial, though safety concerns were noted.
